It's always been such a fun place to hang out. I've literally met my best friends and lifelong friends here. Everyone is cool and definitely a judgement free atmosphere.
Love Suntrapp! It’s not trying to be something it’s not and delivers perfectly on the vibe. I’m not expecting staff to be overly friendly - they’re doing their job in a crazy loud place. I love love LOVE that you can bounce between the dance floor, bar, and patio. Seriously, being able to get fresh air or walk away from a song you don’t love is so nice. Drinks are relatively cheap. I brought my friend who’d never gone clubbing (and doesn’t drink) and she had an awesome time. Last night there were a lot of straight guys (not just with their girlfriends but groups of straight guys) which I didn’t love. To second another review, my one major complaint is the lack of a pathway between the two bar areas. People constantly pushing their way through the dance floor totally ruins the vibe. Loved the Brazilian funk last night! We need more of that/Latin music in SLC clubs!!
I love it! So happy it’s doing so well! Great music, fun physical layout, lots of places to dance and hang out, reasonably priced drinks. For the love of god you guys HAVE to get more bathrooms though!!
Was looking for a place to meet a group before Kilby Block Party and had a friend named Belt recommend coming here. So glad I took them up on it! The patio is a great space for larger groups and the drinks are reasonably priced.
Fantastic atmosphere, great service, no cover charge, awesome drinks at super reasonable prices. Had a fantastic tequila sunrise here. There’s a great dance floor, 3 places to order drinks, plenty of seating and places to hang out, and plenty of street parking. Favorite gay bar in SLC!!
Shout out to the GM Fred for making pride such a fun and community based environment at the Suntrapp! Providing food and water is going to make it so much fun! Who doesn’t love burgers and hot dogs ??
